Behind the lens
Chamsi Dib spends her days as an independent photographer.
She has studied communication, cinema and photography; receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University, Canada. Chamsi’s prime photographic interests are in portraiture and social documentary.
She also has an avid interest for food and culture.
She does commissioned work as well as personal projects.
She has exhibited at the “Festival du Monde Arabe” in Montreal and her photos have been published in many newspapers and magazine (print and online). She has worked for CNW Group as News Photo Editor, for
Leda & St-Jacques as an assistant and for Magenta Studio Photo.
She took part in a photo exhibition called ''Fragments de patrimoine''
exposed in Montreal in 2015. She is currently based in
Casablanca and is exploring Moroccan culture.
